How we rank

1. Start with the property

We assess each property as accommodation, weighing its location, design, rooms and walkable surroundings. A casino is mentioned as an amenity but has no bearing on its placement.

2. No numerical grades

We do not calculate points or combine customer star ratings. The sequence reflects editorial assessment, with the rationale explained openly in each write-up.

3. Rankings cannot be bought

Hotels, operators and agencies cannot purchase inclusion or a higher position. There are no affiliate referrals or booking tools here.

Our review criteria

Category	What we consider
Location	Does the destination stand out, and what is walkable nearby?
Architecture	Does the design or heritage give the property character?
Accommodation	Room dimensions, views and differences across buildings.
Amenities	Pools, wellness, restaurants, green spaces and entertainment beyond gaming.
Ideal guest	The traveller most likely to enjoy the stay, named in the "Ideal for" note.
